10+ Number Puzzles

Terms and Conditions

Last updated · Privacy Policy

The short version

  • Be at least 13 to make an account. If you're under 18, get a parent's permission before buying anything.
  • Play fair. No cheating, modified apps, automation or multiple accounts to farm ratings. We can void results and suspend accounts that break this.
  • Coins have no cash value and live on your device. Uninstalling or clearing the app's data loses them.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in the app. Donations are voluntary; donations made in the app appear on the public donor wall.
  • Online modes never cost coins. When no human opponent is available, a duel may be against a computer opponent, and those duels are unranked.
  • The game is provided as is. These terms are governed by the law of Nigeria.

This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.

These terms are an agreement between you and Dr. Iyoke Richard Sopuruchukwu ("we", "us") for using the 10+ Number Puzzles app (also shown as "Number Puzzles") and its website at 10plusnumberpuzzles.com. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and forms part of these terms.

By installing the app, creating an account, making a purchase or using the website, you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.

1. The game

10+ Number Puzzles is a collection of number and logic puzzles (such as Sudoku and its variants, Kakuro, Star Battle and Nonograms) for entertainment and brain training. It includes:

  • Offline play: stages from Easy to Genius, which you can play without an account.
  • Online play, which needs an account and an internet connection: the Daily Puzzle, ranked 1v1 duels, private and public rooms (race, co-op and team modes), tournaments, invites, rematches and leaderboards.
  • Optional purchases: coin packs, subscriptions and donations.

The website shows what the game offers, how to play each puzzle, and public leaderboards. You can't play the game on the website.

2. Who can use it

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, or older if your country sets a higher minimum age for using online services without a parent's consent.
  • If you're under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you need a parent's or guardian's permission to make purchases, and they're responsible for purchases made on their payment method.
  • You must be allowed to use the service under the laws that apply to you.

3. Your account

  • Give accurate details and keep your password secret. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
  • One person per account. Don't share, sell, lend or transfer accounts, and don't use someone else's.
  • Usernames and profile photos are public (see the Privacy Policy). They must not be offensive, hateful, sexual, misleading, impersonate someone else, or include personal information like phone numbers. We may change a username or remove a photo that breaks this rule.
  • You can change your username, photo and other profile details in the app. Gender and date of birth can't be changed once saved.
  • You can delete your account in the app at any time (Account → Delete Your Account), or by emailing richardiyoke@gmail.com. What happens to your data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

4. Online play, ratings and leaderboards

  • Ratings: each puzzle type has its own rating, which rises and falls with your ranked results and sets your level and tier. We may adjust the rating system, reset seasons or correct ratings affected by bugs or cheating.
  • Computer opponents: when no other player is available, a 1v1 duel may be against a computer-controlled opponent. Those duels are unranked and never change your rating.
  • Leaving a match: if you leave a live match, or don't come back to it in time, you may forfeit it and it may count as a loss.
  • Daily Puzzle: everyone gets the same board each day. The clock runs from when you start, is measured on our servers, and doesn't stop if you close the app. Running out of lives ends that attempt.
  • Rooms and tournaments: the host of a room controls its settings and may remove or ban players from it. Tournaments eliminate players round by round according to the rules shown in the app.
  • Leaderboards are for fun and bragging rights only. They don't entitle anyone to money, prizes or rewards unless we publish separate official rules for a specific event.

5. Fair play

Competitive modes only work if everyone plays honestly. You must not:

  • use modified, cracked or unofficial versions of the app, or tamper with its code, traffic or data;
  • use bots, scripts, solvers, macros, emulators or anyone else's help to play for you;
  • exploit bugs, glitches or unintended behaviour (please report them instead);
  • create or use multiple accounts, deliberately lose, or arrange results with other players to change ratings or rankings;
  • interfere with our servers, attack other players' connections, or get around rate limits, app integrity checks or other security measures.

The app checks with Google Play Integrity (and Apple App Attest on iPhone) that it's a genuine copy, and the server reviews results for impossible times. If we reasonably believe you've broken these rules, we may void results, remove you from leaderboards, reset ratings, remove coins or purchases obtained through the abuse, and suspend or close your account.

6. Chat and behaviour

Room chat is for the players in the room. Be decent. You must not post anything that is illegal, threatening, harassing, hateful, sexual, violent, spam, a scam, or someone else's personal information, and you must not impersonate us or other players. Room hosts may remove players, and we may act on reports by suspending or closing accounts.

Report abuse to richardiyoke@gmail.com with the room code, the username and what happened.

7. Coins, lives and hints

  • Coins are a virtual in-game item. You can earn them (for example by watching optional rewarded ads) or buy them in packs, and spend them in offline play on hints, extra lives and similar help. Online modes never cost coins.
  • Coins have no cash value. They can't be exchanged for money, transferred to another player, or sold, and they're a licence to use a game feature, not property you own.
  • Your coin balance is stored on your device. Uninstalling the app, clearing its data, resetting or losing your phone, or switching phones can lose your coins. Coins you buy are recorded on your account and added to your device when you claim them; once claimed, they're part of that device's balance. Cloud save doesn't include coins.
  • We may change how many coins things cost or give, and we may remove coins obtained through bugs, refunds that were later reversed, or abuse.

8. Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions remove forced ads and may include other benefits shown in the app when you subscribe. Plans (currently monthly, six-monthly and yearly) and prices are shown before you pay and may change; a price change never applies to a period you've already paid for.
  • Payment is taken by Paystack or Flutterwave, whichever you choose, under their terms.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, charging the same payment method, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the app on the subscription screen. Your subscription then stays active until the end of the period you've paid for and doesn't renew.
  • If a renewal payment fails, your subscription may end at the close of the current period until you update your payment method.
  • Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in the app first.

9. Payments and refunds

  • Prices are shown in the app before you pay, in the currency shown at checkout. The payment provider may convert currencies and your bank may charge fees.
  • Digital items are delivered as soon as payment is confirmed. Purchases are final and non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund or where you were charged but didn't receive what you paid for.
  • If something went wrong with a payment, email richardiyoke@gmail.com with the payment reference and we'll put it right. Opening a chargeback while we're resolving it may lead to the purchased items being removed.
  • Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law, including Nigeria's Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act.

10. Donations

Donations are voluntary gifts to support the game's development. You don't receive any item, feature or service in return, and donations are non-refundable except where the law requires. Donors who give in the app appear on the public donor wall there with their name (or username), profile photo and total donated. You can also donate on our website without an account; those donations aren't shown on the donor wall, and your receipt goes to the email address you enter. Website donations are in US dollars, from $1 up to $5,000 at a time.

11. Ads

The free game shows ads from Appodeal and its partner networks. Rewarded ads are optional; if an ad fails to finish or its reward doesn't arrive, we can't always guarantee the reward. We aren't responsible for advertisers' products, websites or claims. Tapping an ad may take you to a third party's site or app.

12. Third-party services

The game relies on services run by other companies, including Google (Sign-In, Play Integrity, Google Play Games cloud save), Paystack and Flutterwave (payments), Appodeal (ads) and YouTube (tutorial videos). Their own terms apply when you use them, and we aren't responsible for them or for their availability. If you downloaded the app from Google Play (or later the App Store), that store's terms also apply, and the store has no responsibility to support the app.

13. Ownership and licence

The app, website, puzzles, designs, artwork, name, logo and code belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial entertainment, under these terms.

You must not copy, sell, rent or distribute the app or its content; reverse-engineer or decompile it except where the law allows; scrape puzzles, leaderboards or other data from the app, the website or our servers; or use our name or logo without written permission.

Tutorial videos shown in the app and on the website belong to their creators and are embedded from YouTube.

14. Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions or bug reports, we may use them freely without owing you anything.

15. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account, or remove access to parts of the game, if you break these terms, put other players or the service at risk, or if the law requires it. Where it's reasonable and safe, we'll tell you why. If we close your account through no fault of yours, we'll refund the unused part of any subscription.

You can stop using the game and delete your account at any time.

16. Changes to the game

We keep improving the game, so puzzles, modes, features, prices, coin costs and rewards may change, and some features may be added or removed. Some updates may be required to keep playing online. We may stop offering the game altogether; if we do, we'll give reasonable notice where we can and refund unused subscription time as the law requires.

17. Disclaimers

The game is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it running well, but we don't promise that it will always be available, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device, or that progress or data will never be lost. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, such as those of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

18. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or for lost coins, progress, data or ratings, arising from your use of the game. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 10 if you paid nothing.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't be excluded by law, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the game changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep playing after it does, you accept the new terms; if you don't agree, stop using the game and delete your account.

20. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If you have a problem, please email richardiyoke@gmail.com first; most things can be sorted out quickly. Otherwise, disputes will be handled by the courts of Nigeria. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protections the consumer laws of your country give you, and may be able to bring a claim in your local courts.
